Camber Mod Installation Tips-

Performing ballstud changes can be made much easier if you use Losi Titanium ball studs. This allows clear access from above with an Allen wrench for the outer two camber holes. You can hold the mini nut with a pair of needle nose pliers and then loosen and tighten the ballstuds without removing the transmission, although it is still easier to remove the transmission to make changes.

Camber Mod Tuning Guide-

0 gold (#4) washers (2 washers lower than stock): Lowers the roll center quite a bit from stock. Will allow the car to roll heavily without compensating with spring and or damping. Reported to work very well on low bite sandy/loamy tracks. As the bite comes up, raise ballstud to prevent dumping.

1 gold (#4) washer (1 washer lower than stock): Lowers the roll center from stock, allowing the car to roll easier/more. Makes the car easier to drive on extremely loose conditions where the track is very inconsistent. The car does not square up as quickly but by the same token, it won't get loose all at once. The car will not have as much corner speed as stock height, but will be more predictable and smoother.

2 gold (#4) washers (stock level): Exactly the same as stock position.

3 gold (#4) washers (1 washer higher than stock): Raises the roll center, giving the car a stiffer feel in the rear. On high bite tracks it will allow the car to carry more corner speed but at the same time the car will be less forgiving at the limits. The car will tend to step out unexpectedly if you are not on top of it. It makes the car edgy and a bit unforgiving but faster on high bite surfaces.

Other Information-

It is good to start out with the ballstud at the stock location (2 washers) at a new track or if using the camber mod for the first time. You can then adjust the height based on track conditions. When changing camber link position (from 2-B to 3-B for example), you can 'compensate' for the change by changing the height of the ballstud. In this case, you would add one washer to keep the rear end from rolling as quickly in a corner. If going to a longer camber rod, then a reduction in the height of the ballstud would likely be used.
